Chopper Assault!

Chopper Assault is a survival shoot-`em-up game made with Javascript, Nodejs, Threejs, and Firebase, as a tribute of course, to the classic flash game Heli Attack 2. 

It took about a month and half to make, starting with a rectangular character being followed around by a rectangular helicopter and ended with sprites, animations, guns, sound effects, and a high score database. Most of the sprites are from spriters-resource.com where I then edited them with Gimp to make them work in the game, as some sprites had to be rotoscoped, resized or reorganized. The sound effects were edited with Audacity and the voice is sampled from a female voice generator. The top ten high scores are listed in game from a firebase database which can be updated when the player achieves a new high score.
